ProductLife Group is actively looking for a Procurement Professional to join our Procurement teams from Prague, Czech Republic or Milan, Italy. This person will source products and services to maximize added value and fulfill business requirements in accordance with PLG’s global and procurement strategies. The key aspect is to find and assign the most suitable and best fitting resources for the services PLG delivers worldwide. Teamwork and integrity are key behavioral elements to satisfy customers and partners.

Responsibilities

The Procurement Professional goal is to manage organizational spend by maximizing vendor value while minimizing risk. Understandably, there are lots of practices and processes that Procurement Professional use to accomplish that goal:

  • actively identifying business needs and wants, and formalizing requirements in cooperation with stakeholders to delivery added value,
  • selecting / sourcing vendors, identify strategic partnerships, notably through RFI – RFP – RFQ process, negotiating with suppliers/contractors (commercial conditions and prices),
  • securing vendors risk assessment, and quality checks accordingly with PLG guidelines and policies,
  • performing end-to-end contract processing (drawing-up contract draft, ensuring approval and sign-off, and keeping Suppliers’ contracts files updated),
  • evaluating vendor performance (measure effectiveness, compliance and ultimately, the business’s return on investment (ROI)),
  • overall reducing costs and improving outcomes.

 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Professional will be working closing with

  • the Operations (COO / BU heads…)
  • the Customer Success engagement team (project management)
  • the various stakeholders in respect of the purchase categories they are respectively needing
  • the Group Financial Controller
  • the Payable accounting Manager
  • the Legal Manager
  • the external (auditors, accounting firms) and internal (country managers) stakeholders

Group 11
Education

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree is required

Group 12
Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement
  • A previous experience in a multinational company is required
  • Ideally a previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ideally a previous experience in a fast-paced company (change management context)
