We are looking for a Cosmetic Quality Control Laboratory Technician (Cosmetic Quality Controller) M/F to join our teams.

Responsibilities

The missions are as follows:

1. Quality Assistant

  • Ensure the reception and handling of bulks and finished products to be checked
  • Carry out all quality controls on bulks and finished products in compliance with processes, established specifications and defined deadlines
  • Participate in the release of batches in accordance with specifications to quality study managers
  • Ensure the recording and archiving of bulk and finished product controls
  • Manage the renewal of standards and other control elements during the marketing of products on the market
  • Carry out the storage and archiving of bulks and finished products
  • Ensure order, storage and cleanliness of the quality laboratory and the Standard sample library
  • Set up, at the request of quality study managers, approval tests during product development
  • Participate and implement quality control techniques to define the different control protocols (color indicators, range of defects, templates, measuring devices)
  • Identify, record non-conformities and alert the relevant quality study manager for analysis of the causes and proposals for corrective actions
  • Participate in continuous improvement by evolving your business processes
  • Ensure the application of quality assurance rules
  • Intervene and alert in the event of a situation or anomaly likely to harm or disrupt the proper functioning of the company
  • Apply and enforce the ISO 22716 Standard, the requirements and procedures in place

2. Quality Study Officer

You work closely with the project team and suppliers to guarantee the quality of the products being launched:

  • Participate in risk analyzes
  • Determines the action plans and associated specific test protocols, Defines then monitors the control plans in the development and industrialization phases until the approval of the finished products in accordance with the established schedule
  • Constructs the panoplies of defects and triptychs of shades
  • Establish the finished product technical file
  • Manages the control of semi-finished and finished products with suppliers and the quality assistant and releases the batches
  • Monitors non-conformities during launch

You are also involved in monitoring issues on the products in the range:

  • Manages non-conformities and follows action plans
  • Deals with market rises

You contribute to the dynamic of continuous improvement:

  • Writes and deploys internal quality standards (specifications, procedures, etc.)
  • Support suppliers in meeting quality requirements
  • Reports externally and internally the monitoring of performance indicators
  • Works on cross-functional improvement topics (tools, feedback, etc.)
  • Apply and enforce the ISO 22716 Standard, the requirements and procedures in place.

Profile

  • Bac+2/bac+3 (eg in quality control or chemistry), you have a first experience in a similar position in the cosmetics field.
  • You are organized, autonomous, rigorous and you have good interpersonal skills. You also have good critical thinking skills.
  • You are proficient in IT tools (word, excel, etc.)
