Senior Consultant IT

ProductLife Group (PLG) is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, customization, and optimization of business software solutions, including applications used in GxP-regulated environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with international software vendors, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and customize software solutions, including systems operating in regulated environments.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using embedded reporting tools and third-party solutions.
• Plan, execute, and document testing activities, including support during validation phases when required.
• Provide end-user support, training, and guidance during solution deployment and adoption.
• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation.
• Act as the technical point of contact with international software vendors, managing technical issues, requirements, and product-related discussions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in implementation projects and provide consulting support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, business applications, or a related field.

Languages

• Fluent Italian (mandatory).
• Fluent English (mandatory).

Required Technical Skills

• Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Java and/or JavaScript.
• Python programming.
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals.
• SQL and database querying.
• Microsoft Office Suite and productivity tools.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas is considered a strong advantage:

• Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) / PMO solutions.
• Business Analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Document Management Systems (DMS).
• Business process analysis and optimization.
• Corporate finance processes.
• Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience working in regulated environments (GxP knowledge is an asset).
