ProductLife Group (PLG) has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, covering the calendar year 2025. Last year’s report set out commitments that were still in progress. This year’s report shows two of them confirmed by independent bodies: validated science-based climate targets, and an EcoVadis Gold rating.

The report is aligned with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact. It covers all legal entities within the PLG perimeter at year end, and three global CSR KPIs are audited annually by an accredited external auditor.

From commitment to independent validation

In December 2025, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated PLG’s near-term emission reduction targets. It confirmed they meet the SBTi Corporate Near-Term Criteria, aligned with a 1.5°C pathway. Against a 2024 base year, PLG commits to:

  • reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50.4% by 2032
  • reduce Scope 3 emissions by 58.14% per euro of value added by 2032
  • ensure that suppliers covering 67% of its spend on purchased goods, services and capital goods have their own science-based targets by 2030

PLG France was awarded EcoVadis Gold with a score of 79/100, placing it in the 96th percentile of companies assessed in its industry. Intexo, Pharma IT, Commercial Eyes and LifeBee also hold Gold ratings in their own right.

“The validation of our targets is an important milestone and the starting point for delivery,” says James Burt, CEO of ProductLife Group. “We have set a clear direction and must now turn our commitments into measurable progress.”

Measuring what matters

In 2025, PLG completed a double materiality assessment on a voluntary basis. It was not required under the CSRD Omnibus provisions. The assessment identifies where PLG’s operations and value chain have the most significant impacts, risks and opportunities: climate change, its own workforce, workers in the value chain, clients and end users, business conduct, and information security.

PLG’s 2025 carbon footprint was 8,673 tCO₂e, 6.6% lower than in 2024. This is the first footprint reported against the validated targets. The report separates the two factors behind the change: a genuine reduction in business travel emissions, down 29% year on year, and improved calculation accuracy from a more complete inventory.

People, ethics and value chain

  • Women held 51% of management positions, above PLG’s target of at least 45%
  • New joiner attrition fell from 21% to 15%, reaching the 2029 target ahead of schedule
  • Zero reported human rights violations, ethics violations, or successful cyberattacks
  • 100% of new suppliers screened through due diligence including CSR provisions
  • Days for the Planet launched in December 2025 as a year-round employee engagement initiative on sustainability

Looking ahead to 2026

PLG’s priorities for the year ahead are to:

  • develop its decarbonization roadmap
  • extend renewable energy sourcing
  • strengthen the quality of its greenhouse gas data
  • deepen climate engagement with suppliers
  • continue improving its EcoVadis performance across the group
