Your Mission

As a Senior HR Associate, you will be responsible for delivering end-to end HR operational support across multiple countries within the JAPAC region, with a primary focus on Australia, the Philippines and Japan. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of HR and payroll processes while partnering with employees, managers, payroll providers, and key stakeholders to provide an excellent employee experience. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-toend payroll operations across the JAPAC region, ensuring accurate and timely payroll inputs, validations, employee changes, and coordination with payroll providers.
  • Handle employee lifecycle processes and provide day-today HR guidance and support to employees and managers across the JAPAC region, including induction and onboarding, probation completion, promotions, transfers, contract renewals, and offboarding.
  • Manage induction and onboarding activities, including employment contracts, new hire administration, orientation, and HR system updates and coordination of country specific requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits and support statutory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and manage absence records and employee documentation.
  • Conduct HR interviews for junior positions and support reference and background checks when required.
  • Prepare employment-related letters and documentation.
  • Produce HR reports, metrics, and analytics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to HR process improvements and support policy, process, and system changes.

 

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Generalist positions.
  • Proven experience in payroll coordination, onboarding, employee administration, and HR reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practices within multinational and multicultural environments
  • Strong proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of employment practices, payroll administration and statutory requirements
    across Australia, the Philippines and/or Japan.
  • Experience supporting HR operations, including employee onboarding, payroll coordination
    and HR administration across multiple countries, particularly Australia, the Philippines
    and/or Japan, highly regarded.
  • Experience with, and sound understanding of, Australian payroll practices and compliance
    requirements highly regarded.
  •  Experience with Workday highly regarded, particularly in relation to employee lifecycle
    administration, reporting and HR system maintenance.
