Responsibilities

The Human Resources team supports our employee population by providing the structure, care, and development needed for individual employees to be successful in their own careers, which in turn contributes to the overall growth and success of the Company. The Human Resources department is organized in three strategic pillars:

  • HR Shared Services and Talent Analytics: payroll, health and welfare benefits, retirement plan services, and immigration.
  • Human Resources Business Partners: performance management, employee relations, coaching and counseling.
  • People Engagement: corporate social responsibility, diversity, learning, leadership development, internal communications and employee engagement.

You will be part of a growing team and will work closely with PLG’s leadership, the CHRO and the wider team to build out the Talent capabilities for PLG.  This position is the first of its kind and will play a critical role in driving change within our organisation.

As a manager, you will provide with your team of HR Professionals HR Shared Services for:

  • Support of HR cyclical processes including payroll, year-end compensation, and various other projects/ad-hoc requests
  • Partner with internal HR teams to resolve manager and employee questions within defined timelines
  • Functions as a subject matter expert on compensation, including salary program development and appropriate federal/state/local laws on all aspects of pay
  • Develops, implements, and validates processes and systems to enhance the compliance and accuracy of all aspects of the job evaluation process
  • Maintenance of accurate reporting on HR activities and ad-hoc reporting per HRBP requests
  • Through analysis, proactively identifies and implements opportunities to improve the customer (employee) experience through changes in protocols internally and through vendors
  • Leads internal and cross-functional initiatives related to process and quality improvement

As an expert, your task will include:

Reporting and analytics

  • Starting from business needs, set the right on shelf reporting for the right people at the right time.
  • Collaborate with IT/IS team to deliver dashboards to end users.
  • Be able to deliver specific one off analysis to address specific demands.
  • Progressively make connection between people data and data coming from other domains (eg: Sales, Costs, etc.).

Data governance

  •  Starting from business reporting needs, help define which data would belong to the group HR data model and which ones are local.
  •  Identify the critical set of data that must be tracked by constantly balancing which data is essential to know while not overinflating data. sources. Optimise the data set.
  •  Set people data definition standards, procedures and policies to be used in order to ensure set deliverable.

Lead the change

  • Starting from quick wins in reporting, set, prioritize and lead the people data roadmap to progressively extend its impact.
  • Identify proactively opportunities to drive the organization through analytics.
  • Help users to adopt people data & an analytic mindset to lead their activities, especially managers and the HR function.
  • Our IT department is delivering a strong roadmap on data governance and analytics. It provides the tools (eg Power BI while sharing data from different domains), methodology and support.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

PLG is looking for individuals with a record of excellence and achievement. You have proven that you are able to manage difficult tasks and are keen to work in an entrepreneurial company where you can get involved in a variety of work. You are passionate about what you do. Specifically, you have:

  1. Business acumen with a strong interest and good knowledge and experience in analytics
  2.  Capacity to understand internal clients’ needs and identify how people data will address these needs
  3.  Very good understanding of the HR roles and processes in contemporary companies
  4.  Good project skills. Interest in defining, structuring and enhancing data
  5.  Capacity to embark PLG’s collaborators and the HR teams in the related change management

Experience : 7-10 years minimum in a company with an appetite for data and analytics
