The need for a local regulatory contact/representative

The need for a local regulatory contact/representative

For product registrations, most countries require the applicant to appoint a local regulatory representative or contact person within the specific country.

This is commonly done for communication purposes, in which the local contact is responsible for communicating with the respective health authority in the local language.

Due to our extensive global footprint and network, we can appoint a local representative on behalf of the client.

Geographies covered are EU, US, Canada, APAC (including China and India), CIS (including Russia), LATAM, and MENA.

PLG’s global footprint provides tangible benefits

We have offices and resources in many countries, which allows us to support clients by having a local representative who can communicate with the health authority. The role integrates multiple functions as part of a holistic communication network with global health authorities.

We have spent the last 30 years creating partnerships with a network of trusted service providers who can act as our clients’ local representatives in countries where we don’t have a local presence. All of our partners undergo a strict vetting process, and communication with them is centralized through our operational or project management teams.
