About us

IntiQuan is Product Life Group’s global Center of Excellence in Pharmacometrics, Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, and Clinical Pharmacology, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Modeler to execute and deliver project for our client.

Role Overview

As a Senior Modeling and Simulation Scientist, you will work on and deliver client projects by developing and running models, analyses, and simulations to inform drug development efforts. You will perform quality control of modeling and simulation analyses, prepare scientific reports, and participate in client meetings. Your role will involve developing innovative approaches to conduct analyses and simulations, turning data into comprehensive stories and sound recommendations for our clients. You will contribute to IntiQuan’s success by supporting our clients in collaboration with our team and growing both professionally and personally to become a true expert in Modeling & Simulation.

Your Impact

As Senior Scientist Modeling & Simulation, you will:

  • Develop and run models, analyses, and simulations to inform drug development efforts, e.g., population pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), exposure-response, disease progression, and/or systems pharmacology models and simulations.
  • Perform quality control of modeling and simulation analyses and simulations.
  • Prepare scientific reports, manuscripts, and presentations and participate in client meetings.
  • Develop innovative approaches to conduct analyses and simulations supporting decision making in drug development.
  • Go from data to insights and turn data into a comprehensive story and sound recommendations for our clients together with our team.
  • Contribute to IntiQuan’s success by supporting our clients in collaboration with our team.
  • Grow, both professionally and personally, to become a true expert in Modeling & Simulation.

What You Bring

  • You have an excellent, documented academic track record with a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Pharmacometrics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field; additional postdoctoral experience is a plus.
  • You have a documented track record of at least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in pharmacometric modeling and reporting in a pharma or service provider environment; first experience in QSP is a plus.
  • You executed modeling projects as responsible modeler for some different development phases and modalities. You represented the modeling and simulation team on interdisciplinary project teams and regularly presented and discussed pharmacometric analyses.
  • You are a power user of one or more script-able modeling and simulation language, e.g., R or MATLAB. You have experience with domain-specific modeling software (e.g., NONMEM or MONOLIX).
  • You are fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages, e.g., German, are a plus.
  • You enjoy working in a young, dynamic team; at the same time you can work independently.
