ProductLife Group is looking for an IT Transition & integration Manager you will work with the IT teams and multiple business departments within PLG to ensure that new and changing IT services are successfully transitioned and integrated in line with key deliverables.
The primary role of a transition manager is to handle requests for change through collection and assessment. As a transition manager you take responsibility to plan and oversee the transfer of relevant information for solution support, acceptance, and operation. You develop transition plans such for application, infrastructure support models and integration projects linked to acquisitions of new companies. In your role, you are the liaison between project managers and business owners and the ICT technical engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and convert them into solutions concepts by using standard market conform technology.
• Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
• Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions
• Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions and assuring documentation and training is available.
• Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions.
• Regularly communicating new features and benefits to all stakeholders
• Providing technical & concept leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle
• Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions.
• Reviewing and validating solutions designs
• Deciding what is covered by available standard functionalities and where enhancements or workarounds are needed.
• Supporting validation and prioritization of business demand with the relevant Information Systems Manager and Global IS Domain Architect, including signing off on use case specifications.
• Converting proof-of-concept solutions into production solutions by using project management approach.
• Contributing to incident management by detecting and eliminating recurring defects, and supporting issue resolution to avoid negative impact on a project or service.
• Supplying stakeholder with information and working with stakeholders regarding their expectations and requirements, in accordance with procedures and guidelines
• Act as interface contact for Information Systems department towards all other Business departments

Required technical skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience in transition management.
• Solid knowledge of IT transition & change management methodology.
• Expertise in IT project management, as well as transition documentation, tools, and templates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Advanced Understanding of IT & IS technology concepts.
• Efficient communication skills

• Advanced Office Application skills (Excel)
• Advanced understanding ITIL & ITSM frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems
• NSE, CISSP, MCSE, or similar certification

Required education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
